About:

An original production bringing together diverse dance and percussion traditions together in a mutual expression of the core. Beginning with hands tapping a table and feet tapping the floor, this performative conversation escalates combining Kathak and Tabla with Tap and Drumming and the flourishes of Flamenco and Cajon. Presenting professional artists, academics and enthusiasts, the project celebrates the joy of life and its fundamental rhythm.

About the Artists:

The project is led by the artists with a minimal brief to allow exploration. Currently involved are Jessica Murray (tap), Hiren Chate (tabla), Kesha Raithatha (kathak), Sarriea Din (flamenco), Yusra Naeem (props and staging).
